Rainey brings more than 19 years of experience at the intersection of technology, intellectual property, regulated business, and dispute resolution. His background includes senior legal and business-affairs responsibility for software and technology agreements, streaming and subscription platforms, privacy and data governance, AI-related contracting and localization, digital content distribution, gaming, and other technology-enabled products. His career began as the first in-house counsel to a regulated sports and gaming enterprise, providing early experience with the operational and regulatory demands of deploying technology in a tightly controlled market.
That combination of product, platform, regulatory, intellectual-property, and disputes experience informs a neutral approach grounded in careful preparation, efficient and proportionate procedure, clear communication, and the ability to separate genuine technical questions from the contractual and commercial issues driving the dispute.
